Her main scope of work is providing immigration advice to local and foreign clients, processing visas, work permits, permanent residence and nationalizations, among others. She has over 20 years of experience carrying out relocation processes.


REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  •  A leading biopharmaceutical company and one of the largest producers of vaccines against Covid 19 in the world on the relocation of expatriates, including different immigration alternatives, as well as visa and work permit applications to live and work in Chile.
  • Several global immigration firms on the relocation of their client's foreign personnel in Chile, including migratory analysis, review of personal and corporate documentation, filing of visas, work permits, permanent residence and nationalization processes.
  • A health institution on the relocation of its foreign personnel, including visas and work permits for Chile.
  • A multinational supermarket chain on the immigration analysis, visa and work permits for its foreign personnel in Chile.
  • A US multinational consumer goods company on the design of a relocation strategy. This project involved planning for the transfer, visa and work permit applications, coordination with relocation companies and customs agents for more than 200 employees and their families.

Patent Specialist in Carey's Intellectual Property Group. Her practice is focused on invention patents in Chemical and Pharmaceutical areas, specifically regarding compositions and processes related to the chemical, mining, polymeric, cellulose, environmental, agrochemical, pharmaceutical and food areas. She has experience in the drafting, prosecution and substantive analysis of patent applications. Also, on the preparation of prior art search and Freedom to Operate (FTO) reports. In addition, she has experience as a technical consultant in litigation matters in the above mentioned areas.
