Our commitment to access to justice is at the core of our professional practice. For over two decades, Carey has led one of the strongest pro bono initiatives in the country, providing high-quality legal services to individuals, communities, and organizations that cannot afford legal representation.

We are founding members of Fundación Pro Bono Chile and signatories of the Pro Bono Declaration of the Americas. Every year, more than 170 lawyers from our team participate in pro bono matters, contributing thousands of hours to cases with high social impact.

Our work includes the protection of fundamental rights and legal support for nonprofit organizations focused on childhood, education, and inclusion — such as Fundación Niño y Patria, Fútbol Más and Colegio CREE — as well as for social enterprises like HUMANOS, which promotes the employment of people with disabilities.

We believe that practicing law involves an ethical duty to actively contribute to building a fairer, more equitable and inclusive society.
