REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Inter-American Investment Corporation, International Finance Corporation and Banco del Estado de Chile on long-term financings for up to USD346 million granted to Suministradora de Buses K Cuatro, a company in charge of supplying 992 electric buses in Santiago, San Bernardo and Puente Alto, Chile.
  • Patria Investments on the Chilean aspects of the sale of its controlling interest (90%) of its ODATA subsidiaries in Latin America (Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Uruguay). The transaction was governed by New York law and involved the coordination of different legal advisors for each of the parties, Patria and Cyrus One, as sellers, and Aligned Data Centers as buyer. Additionally, the sale was conditional on the pre-payment of the senior, VAT and bridge loans of which ODATA was a borrower, which also involved the coordination of the different advisors of the financial institutions involved.
  • IFC and DEG, as lenders, on a USD350 and USD50 million financing, respectively, to Engie Energía Chile to implement a decarbonization plan, to switch from fossil fuel to non-conventional renewable energy sources and to install a new BESS energy storage system.
  • Itaú Corpbanca on the restructuring of the existing debt of Inversiones Hoteleras Holding (IHH) with Itaú Corpbanca, in the context of the sale, by IHH, of all the outstanding shares in Inmobiliaria Cerro San Cristóbal (Hotel Sheraton) to Inversiones Hoteleras C y A (Grupo Alcázar).
  • U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, DNB Bank ASA, Itaú Corpbanca, Bci and others, as lenders of Alto Maipo and Strabag, in connection with a Restructuring Support Agreement in the context of a Chapter 11 procedure before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for USD2.1 billion.
  • Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce on the amendment and extension of a corporate revolving credit facility from USD225 million to USD500 million, plus USD100 million accordion, granted to Capstone. The proceeds were used to repay an existing debt facility with Glencore Chile, which was previously raised in connection with the Mantos Blancos concentrator development project.
  • DNB Bank, Itaú Corpbanca, BCI and Moneda Asset Management, as lenders, in connection with a VAT facility agreement granted to Alto Maipo, as part of the restructuring of its debt under Chapter 11, before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
  • DigitalBridge on a new term loan facility, added to an existing credit agreement entered into with a group of Chilean banks.
