His practice focuses on advising various national and international clients on all types of matters directly or indirectly related to concession granting processes, public procurement, compliance, negotiation and development of public-private partnerships, litigation before State Administration bodies, national and foreign Courts of Justice, Arbitration Tribunals, the Public Procurement Court and the Constitutional Court, legal defense against sanctions imposed by public entities and advice regarding sectoral regulations in various markets.

    Previously, he also worked in Carey's corporate law area.

    • An important state-owned company on the legal and risk analysis of a financing operation with an important international investment bank and private foreign investors through an operation with pre-capitalized notes (P-CAPs).
    • DNB Bank New York Branch, in its capacity as guarantor agent for a syndicate of international banks, on the analysis of the modification of existing credit agreements and various guarantees granted in Chile, to guarantee a refinancing in favor of Cooke Aquaculture Inc. and Cooke Aquaculture USA for approximately USD616 million (CDN675 million and USD120 million).
    • One of the largest fund managers in Chile on a lawsuit against the supervisory body of financial markets, regarding the request for sensitive information from its clients in the context of the regulation anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism.
    • Codelco on its defense in a constitutional action challenging the National Lithium Strategy, arguing that the implementation of this public policy violates the Political Constitution of Chile, especially in relation to the requirements and limitations imposed on the State's business activity.
    • An important international insurance and financial services company on the development of preliminary negotiations for the development of an international arbitration before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) regarding the breaches of the Government of Chile in the field of social security legislation.
    • Sun Dreams, one of the largest gaming casino operators in the country, on a dispute before several national courts against the casino regulatory body.
    • A relevant international construction company on the development of preliminary negotiations for international arbitration before the ICSID, regarding the Government of Chile's breaches of a construction contract for an important hydroelectric project in Chile.
