Pan American Silver on a mining due diligence related to an offer for the acquisition of the mining company, Yamana Gold, which includes the El Peñón and Minera Florida projects for USD5,020 million.
Hapag-Lloyd, a German listed company and global leader in container shipping, on the acquisition, for approx. USD1 billion, of the port terminals and inland logistics business of SAAM, a Chilean listed multinational company that provides foreign trade services. Upon closing, Hapag-Lloyd will acquire the entire operation of the port terminals business of SAAM, which includes ten terminals in six countries in the Americas, and of the inland logistics business of SAAM. The transaction is subject to regulatory authorizations in various jurisdictions and must comply with other usual conditions for this type of transactions.
Marimaca on corporate, regulatory, environmental, mining and main supplies matters for the implementation of its copper project Marimaca in the Antofagasta region.
Codelco on an agreement with Lithium Power International (LPI), a company listed in the Australia Stock Exchange (ASX) to acquire 100% of the share capital of LPI by way of a Scheme of Arrangement. LPI owns, through its subsidiary Minera Salar Blanco, the "Blanco Project", adyacent to Codelco's mining tenements in the Maricunga Salt Flat.
