- Solar Elena, a company of the Grenergy Renovables group, on an up to USD270 million financing governed by New York law, for the construction, development, and operation of a project located in Chile’s Antofagasta Region. The project includes a photovoltaic solar plant along with a high-capacity battery energy storage system, which will store solar energy sourced both from the existing plant and from the power grid, taking advantage of currently low prices during solar hours.
- BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole, The Bank of Nova Scotia, DNB Bank and SMBC on a financing for up to USD478.5 million granted to Atlas Energía Dos and Estepa Solar Dos, members of the Atlas Renewable Energy group, to finance the construction, operation and development of the Estepa Solar project, a 215 MWp Solar PV plant and two lithium-ion type battery energy storage projects (BESS) of 418 MW x4h in total, located in Antofagasta, Chile, as well as on the issuing of stand-by letters of credit for different purposes related to such projects.
- An international foreign exchange company on regulatory matters in Chile regarding its incorporation in the country in compliance with local law.
- Several national and international companies involved in card payment operations (operación de tarjetas de pago) on acquitions, regulatory permits and implementation of financing programs.
- OPDEnergy on a financing for USD48 million, granted by BNP Paribas to RA Solar, for the construction, development and start-up of the Alcones Project, a photovoltaic energy generation project with an installed capacity of 109.76 MWp approx., located in the commune of Marchigüe, and connected to the electrical system through the Portezuelo substation. The advice included the negotiation of the Chilean aspects of the Credit Agreement, Security and Depositary Agreement and other documents under New York law, and the documents subject to Chilean law, including the entire security documents package.
- Banco de Crédito e Inversiones, ING Capital, Natixis (New York Branch), and Société Générale, as lenders, on a USD375 million project finance transaction for the development, construction, and operation of the El Espino mining project, focused on the exploitation of an open-pit copper mine and the construction of associated infrastructure, including a processing plant, seawater pumping system, power transmission lines, and substations.
- Grenergy Renovables on the sale to ContourGlobal, a KKR company, of the first three phases of Oasis de Atacama, the world's largest storage project. The transaction covers three of the seven phases of this project, which includes a portfolio of three plants with a combined installed capacity of 451 MW solar and 2.5 GWh of storage. These phases will generate more than 1.3 TWh of annual energy.
- Grenergy Renovables on the local aspects of the financing of Phase 3 of the Oasis de Atacama Project, called Victor Jara Project, for the construction, development and operation of a project in Pozo Almonte, Tarapacá Region, of approximately 230 MW of solar photovoltaic power capacity and 200 MW of a battery-based energy storage system (BESS) with a capacity of 1300 MW/hour.
