Chilean Ministry of Public Health establishes quarantine for passengers arriving from Italy and Spain

Dear all,

We would like to inform you that the Chilean Ministry of Public Health, within the framework of the health alert decreed by the Chilean government through Decree No. 4 of January 5th, 2020, and its subsequent modification on March 7th, 2020, regarding the outbreak of coronavirus, decided to establish a 14-day quarantine period for those who arrive to the country from Spain and Italy, within the measures adopted to confront the spread of the virus in Chile.

People arriving from these countries will be classified as "high risk travelers" and will be under the supervision of the Chilean health authority during their isolation.

Given that this is a subject that is under permanent review, any new measure adopted by the Chilean health authority, will be informed.
