Vincent Manancourt

The Paris and Madrid offices of Linklaters, Carey in Santiago and Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano Abogados in Lima have helped France’s Séché Environnement buy fellow waste management company Befesa Group’s Peruvian and Chilean operations.

Befesa hired Clifford Chance LLP in Madrid. The transaction closed on 29 March with no value disclosed.

The businesses, which made around €10 million (US$10.6 million) in revenue in 2016, add to Séché Environnement’s existing operations in Argentina and Mexico.
