The Chilean Patent and Trademark Office (INAPI), in exempt Resolution Number 112, has announced new rates for Examination fees, that shall come into force on Friday April 19, 2013. These rates apply to Patents, Utility Models, Industrial Designs, Designs and Layout Designs, and Integrated Circuit Topographies.

According to this decree, the new tariffs are:

Patents	USD 950
Utility Models	USD 750
Industrial Drawings, Industrial Designs, and Integrated Circuit Topographies Layout Designs	USD 630

Examiner’s fees have remained unchanged since 2012, and they were modified accordingly to the national Consumer’s Price Index (IPC).
