DGA Exempt Resolution No 492, issued on March 27, 2020 (“Resolution 492”) has suspended ongoing deadlines, between March 18 and May 18, 2020, for most administrative proceedings carried out before the DGA, set out on Book Second of the Water Code.
Such measure implies the suspension of pending deadlines for the submission of disclaims on inspection proceedings, oppositions to third parties’ requests, provision of funds or documents required by DGA on proceedings related to granting of new water rights or change of intake points; and the submission of reconsideration challenges before DGA, among others.
According to Resolution 492, the imposed suspension won’t have the effect of extending expired deadlines, nor will be applicable to deadlines occurring after May 18, 2020.
