On May 1, 2025, the new communication channel between the Financial Market Commission ("CMF") and supervised entities, called "CMF Supervisa," began operations. This platform was established through General Rule No. 515, issued by the CMF on July 25, 2024. It replaces both the Extranet (used by banks and financial institutions) and the Sistema de Envío de Información en Línea (SEIL, used by entities in the securities and insurance sectors).
To use CMF Supervisa, supervised entities must verify or update their legal representative before the platform's launch by authenticating through the CMF website: www.cmfchile.cl/supervisa.
CMF Supervisa will serve as a single channel for communication and information submission between supervised entities and the CMF. It will standardize procedures, meet information security requirements, and help foster a smoother relationship between supervised entities and the regulator.
