    His practice focuses on the development of energy projects, including the negotiation of energy supply, transmission and distribution contracts, transactions involving natural resources, as well as corporate and commercial law matters.

     

    • Smurfit Westrock on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Envases Impresos Cordillera and Chilena de Moldeados, companies comprising the corrugated packaging business of Empresas CMPC, for USD420 million.
    • Grenergy on the sale to CVC DIF of the fourth phase of Oasis de Atacama (Gabriela), the world's largest storage project for USD475 million.
    • CI NMF I Arena HoldCo, a subsidiary of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, on the structuring and development of a stand-alone battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Taltal, Antofagasta Region. The system has a rated capacity of 220 MW and a discharge duration of five hours.
    • Promigas, one of the main gas corporations in Colombia, on the acquisition from the private equity firm EQT of the business of the Spanish company Zelestra in Latin America, including Chile, Peru and Colombia.
    • An asset manager on the potential acquisition of a standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) project under development in the north of Chile. The advice included the due diligence, the negotiation of contracts, and the adaptation of foreign-law structures to the Chilean regulatory framework.
