Her practice focuses on administrative, constitutional and regulatory law, advising various national and international clients, as well as public agencies and companies, on all types of matters directly or indirectly related to the public sector in Chile, including concession granting processes, public procurement, negotiation and development of public-private partnerships, litigation before state administration bodies, ordinary and special courts of justice, the Public Procurement Court and the Constitutional Court. Also, her practice includes legal defense against sanctions issued by public entities, advice regarding sectorial regulations in various markets, public policies and legislative matters, as well as issues related to the Transparency Law.


REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Codelco on various administrative proceedings before the Comptroller General, the National Congress, and the Council for Transparency, which focused on the legality and transparency of the public-private partnership agreement with SQM for lithium exploitation in the Atacama salt flat.
  • Asociación de AFP de Chile on the preparation of a legal report addressing the constitutional issues related to a segment of the pension system reform, which proposes recurring auctions to assign affiliate portfolios to the administrative entity (AFP) that offers the lowest price.
  • Finning Chile on an appeal to overturn the early termination of its framework agreement, in the context of a sanction imposed by the Public Procurement Directorate due to failure to submit formal documents. Additionally, on its successful defense against the Municipality of Coquimbo to prevent the latter from charging advertising fees for billboards located within its premises.
