His practice focuses on the development of energy projects, especially matters related to the electric industry, including supply, generation, transmission, distribution, the obtention of administrative authorizations and the negotiation of contracts related to the area. Additionally, his practice includes electricity industry regulation, corporate law and civil law in general.
REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
- Mainstream Renewable Power (MRP) on the implementation of the financial restructuring of its portfolios of ten non-conventional renewable energy generation projects "Huemul" (630MW), "Cóndor" (591 MW) and "Copihue" (148.5 MW), financed under a project finance structure with several banks syndicates and the renegotiation of a Mezzanine financing granted in connection thereto; all of the above as part of the Chilean reorganization processes initiated by Cóndor Energía and Huemul Energía, and under the Chapter 11 process initiated in the United States against certain affiliates of MRP by one of its creditors.
