Her practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation matters before ordinary, special and arbitration courts, alternative dispute resolution, restructuring and insolvency proceedings.


REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • WOM on its restructuring process and successful emergence from Chapter 11. The transaction involved a complete corporate and financial restructuring of the WOM group entities, including the obtaining of a DIP financing, the change of control of the company, the incorporation of vehicles and funds, both foreign and domestic, as well as the issuance of new secured, convertible and unsecured notes to capitalize and settle the claims of various creditors.
  • Nova Austral and its shareholders on the reorganization proceedings in relation to their aquaculture activities in southern Chile, following investigations by the local fishing authorities and environmental complaints against them.
  • Choice Hotels International, as creditor, on a reorganization process of a debtor, which has outstanding payments related to the licensing agreement permitting the use of Choice's brand name.
  • Inmobiliaria Arboleda de Fray León on a reorganization proceeding for USD38 million approx.
  • WOM on its voluntary reorganization proceeding under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, filed in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, which included the negotiation and execution of a senior secured debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing, for up to USD210 million, granted by JPMorgan Chase Bank.
