Starting 00:00 AM of March 28, China will temporarily suspend the entry into the country of all foreign nationals holding valid visas or residence permits. The suspension extends to foreign nationals holding APEC Business Travel Cards, 24/72/144-hour free transit visa, and other special cases.

Foreigners holding diplomatic, service, and courtesy or C visas will not be affected.

Furthermore, starting Sunday, March 29, all foreign airlines will be required to maintain only one air route to China and operate no more than one flight a week.
