Santiago, October 30, 2026.— Carey led Chile’s rankings in The Legal 500 Latin America 2027, achieving 23 Tier 1 rankings, the guide’s highest category. The firm earned this distinction in 88% of its 26 recognized practice areas.

This leadership combines breadth and depth of expertise. In addition to achieving Tier 1 rankings in core business practice areas—including Corporate and M&A, Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, Competition, Litigation and Tax—Carey is among a select group of top-tier firms in several specialist fields.

The firm earned Tier 1 rankings in Environment, Mining, Projects and Infrastructure, Electricity, and Oil and Gas, among other areas related to investment development and the operation of regulated industries. It also achieved Tier 1 rankings in Life Sciences, Venture Capital, Compliance, and Labour and Employment.

These results are complemented by 80 individual recognitions: 15 in Hall of Fame, 22 in Leading Partners, 24 in Next Generation Partners and 19 in Leading Associates. These distinctions may recognize the same lawyer in more than one practice area.
