WOM, the second largest mobile telecommunications provider in Chile, on its restructuring process and successful emergence from Chapter 11, for USD1.6 billion. The transaction involved a complete corporate and financial restructuring of the WOM group entities, including the obtaining of a DIP financing, the change of control of the company, the incorporation of vehicles and funds, both foreign and domestic, as well as the issuance of new secured, convertible and unsecured notes to capitalize and settle the claims of various creditors.
