CODELCO on the strategy for two renewable energy public bidding processes for the company’s corporate supply for the period 2026-2040. In the 2024 tender, where more than 50 national and international parties participated, the process resulted in the award of three energy and power supply contracts (PPA) for 15 years, for a total volume of 1.8 TWh/year. In the 2025 tender 32 national and international parties participated, resulting in the award of two PPA for 15 years, for a total volume of 1.5 TWh/year. The advice included the preparation of documents such as the prequalification bidding terms and the bidding terms, as well as drafting and negotiating PPA with relevant generation companies.
