This measure is already in effect and seeks to facilitate the entry of businesspersons, professionals, and technicians engaged in corporate activities, thereby strengthening commercial ties between both countries.

Key Aspects of the New Visa:

• Validity: The permit is valid for two years (730 days), allowing multiple entries into Chile for periods of up to 90 days each.
• Beneficiaries: It may be requested by businesspersons, professionals, and technicians engaged in business activities or providing support to Indian companies in Chile.
• Main Requirements: In addition to the usual personal and financial documentation, a sponsorship letter issued by a company established in India or Chile is required, duly legalized or apostilled, certifying the commercial purpose of the trip.
• Application Process: The application is submitted through the Consular Services platform, at a cost of USD 76.

Although the system is already operational, not all practical aspects of its implementation have been clarified, and further details are expected from the authorities.
