Amsted Rail Company in an acquisition within a mandatory liquidation process

Chilean firm Carey has helped US equipment manufacturer Amsted Rail Company take full control of railway equipment company Amsted Rail Chile – formerly a joint venture it shared with fellow manufacturer MGYT.
MGYT held a 60% stake in the JV, which Amsted purchased for an undisclosed fee.

The deal closed on 30 January.
