Her practice focuses on advising domestic and foreign clients on real estate development projects, infrastructure projects, engineering and construction, including land use and building permit matters, title reviews, sale-purchase agreements, leases and other civil law matters and related litigation.


REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Aguas Pacífico (Patria Investments) on the preparation of tender documents for a new desalination plant, including construction and EPC contracts with international and local contractors. The advice also included bankability, financing and preparation of water purchase agreements under different structures with off-takers, as well as contract administration and claim management.
  • BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, through its fund Global Renewable Power III (GRP III), in: i) the acquisition of a portfolio of 18 PMGD photovoltaic projects (the largest operating portfolio of PMGD projects in Chile) from Fondo de Inversión Privado Tralka Energías Renovables with an aggregate capacity of 80 MW, ii) the association with Solek Holdings SE (Solek Group) for the construction and acquisition of a portfolio of up to 28 photovoltaic PMGD/PMG projects with an aggregate capacity of up to 200 MW, and iii) a portfolio management services agreement with Aediles Capital Inc., which will manage the PMGD/PMG portfolio of GRP III in Chile that is projected to reach a capacity of 435 MW through an investment of up to US$200 million, becoming one of the largest distributed energy portfolio in the country.
  • Equinix, a US multinational company and the world's largest data center and colocation infrastructure provider, on the acquisition of Entel’s data center business in Chile and Peru for UF18,580,000 (Unidades de Fomento, approx. USD703 million).
  • Asterion Industrial Partners, a Spanish private equity firm, and its subsidiary Nabiax, a firm focused on the data center business, on the acquisition of four data centers (two in Spain and two in Chile) from Telefónica in approx. USD 120 million. The transaction included the negotiation and drafting of an investment agreement, some assets purchase agreement and different lease and services contracts for the management and operation of the data centers. As part of the deal, Telefónica acquired 20% of Nabiax ultimate controlling entity.
  • Lima Airport Partners concessionaire of Lima's Jorge Chávez International Airport, as international counsel on the contractual strategy and preparation of the bidding documents and contracts for the expansion of the airport, which includes a new runway, terminal, control tower and other ancillary facilities.
  • Asociación Chilena de Seguridad (ACHS) on the preparation of contracts and tender documents for the construction of the new Hospital del Trabajador in Chile.
  • Foreign and local mining companies on the preparation and negotiation of contracts for the development of their production facilities for projects in Chile.
  • An important real estate development company on the financing, development and construction of its real estate projects.
