His practice is focused in litigation and arbitration. Between 2007 and 2012, he was a member of Carey’s Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions Group, where he acquired experience on corporate and commercial law, international trade, foreign investments and general practice.


  • Metro 6, an affiliate of Salini-Impregilo, the largest constructor company in Italy, on an arbitration procedure initiated after Metro unilaterally terminated the construction agreement for a new subway line and expelled the construction company from the worksite. The settlement reached was extremely favorable for Salini-Impregilo.
  • Inmobiliaria Paz, one of the largest real estate and construction companies in Chile, on an arbitration procedure with Inversiones Traf regarding a promise agreement for the sale of one of the most attractive real estate lands in size and location in Santiago.
  • Novartis on a civil complaint for damages initiated by Australis Mar, a salmon and other fish processing and commercialization company, claiming that a vaccine produced and sold by Novartis caused USD20 million in damages to its fish production during 2013.
  • A sanitary company on a lawsuit filed by more than 70 consumers for alleged misconduct.
  • A Chilean Pension Fund (AFP) on a trial for alleged negligence in management of pension savings.
  • Various companies on real estate litigation (claims actions, precarious actions and easements).
  • A multinational company on the negotiation and execution of a bankruptcy preventive agreement.
