  • Brookfield Asset Management on a mezzanine financing for the construction and operation of two renewable energy plants (Cerro Dominador Project) located in the Antofagasta region: a 110MW concentrated solar plant (utilizing molten salt technology) and a 100MW solar photovoltaic plant, that jointly will provide 210MW of base load renewable capacity to the Chilean electrical grid.
  • Eletrans on an international private offering of notes under rule 4(a)(2) of the Securities Act of 1933, targeted to institutional investors, for an amount equal to USD180 million at an interest rate of 4.06% and due 2037.
  • Tarjeta Naranja, subsidiary of Banco Galicia, leading company in the Argentinian credit market, on the issuance of notes registered in the stock markets of Buenos Aires, New York and Luxembourg (Gibson Dunn & Crutcher).
  • An international investment fund on the acquisition of an important stake in six concessioned ports in South America, and on the negotiation of a new stockholder agreement governing the holding entity (Gibson Dunn & Crutcher).
  • Deutsche Bank on a credit agreement for USD450 million under New York Law and obtention of guarantees, in different jurisdictions, in order to finance the acquisition of energy generation plants in Peru (Gibson Dunn & Crutcher).
  • Caesars Entertainment Corporation, a worldwide leading company in the entertainment, gambling and hotel business, on the sale of a relevant stake in a hotel and casino project in Punta del Este, Uruguay (Gibson Dunn & Crutcher).
