His practice is focused on administrative and regulatory litigation, with broad experience on environmental litigation, specializing on trials related to breaches of administrative authorizations and liability for environmental damage, on behalf of domestic and foreign clients before the Environmental Courts, the Supreme Court, as well as the Government agencies with environmental competence.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Barrick Gold Corporation on claims filed before the Environmental Courts and the Supreme Court concerning the Pascua Lama project.
  • Astaldi Concessioni on a lawsuit for environmental damage and injunctive reliefs in relation to the reservoir project Embalse La Punilla.
  • Latin America Power on lawsuits for environmental damages and injunctive reliefs concerning the Carilafquén-Malalcahuello hydroelectric projects.
  • Melón on a lawsuit for environmental damage initiated by the fishermen's union of the bay of Quintero against all companies in the area.
  • Enel on actions filed before the Supreme Court in relation to the water rights of Rapel reservoir.
