Two separate teams from Chilean firm Carey have advised Chilean wood products company Masisa and a group of lending banks on a US$100 million credit facility granted to the manufacturer.
Rabobank Chile, The Bank of Nova Scotia, Banco de Crédito del Perú and Export Development Canada also retained the New York office of Linklaters.
Masisa Forestal acted as guarantor for the loan, which closed on 30 August.
