Luis Andrés Ulloa is a member of Carey y Cía.’s Natural Resources, Energy and Environment group. His professional practice is focused in natural resources, water law, renewable energy, aquaculture concessions, mining law, environmental law, transactions, and corporate law.

Previously, he served as counsel on issues related to natural resources and water law in several environmental projects to the American NGO, The Conservation Land Trust, in Puerto Varas during 2010.

He has actively participated in the Law Review of the Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción, where has published several articles, such as "Historical Evolution to the Basis for Judicial Review of Contracts (Lessio Enormis and Theory Foresight), and other about administrative law.

Since 2005, he is a full member of the Chilean Society of  History of Law and Roman Law.

Having studied law at the Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción in Concepción, Chile, he was admitted to the Bar in 2009.

His thesis was about the "Protection of the State of Chile to the Human Person; Legal Status of Emergency Contraception", which wassent to the Pontifical Academy Pro Vita, Vatican City.

He is fluent in Spanish and English.
