Juan Pablo de la Maza is a member of Carey y Cía.’s Corporate, M&A, Real Estate, Insurance, and Government Contracts Groups. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, international transactions, government contracts, insurance, project development and financing, and commercial and corporate advisory services.

Between 2007 and 2011, he worked as a law clerk with the firm’s Corporate, M&A, Real Estate, Insurance, and Government Contracts Groups.

He studied law at Universidad Católica de Chile Law School. He completed a one-year exchange program at the University of Bristol Law School in England. Mr. De la Maza obtained Summa Cum Laude grade in his graduation exam and earned his J.D.-equivalent degree in 2011. Currently, he is in the process of being admitted to the Bar.

He is fluent in Spanish and English.
