Cristobal Correa is a member of the Natural Resources, Energy and Environment Group. His professional practice is focused in different areas of environmental and mining law, especially in the environmental impact assessment system, environmental conflicts, community relationships and project development.

He is a Environmental Justice and Environmental Conflicts professor at Universidad Diego Portales. Previously, he performed as assistant professor on Procedural Law at Universidad de Chile.

He is author of "Reforms to the Environmental Impact Assessment System and Environmental Alternative Dispute Resolution", published in “Derecho Ambiental en Tiempos de Reformas” in 2010, "Environmental Outcomes: Linking Social and Economic Issues", published in “Chile: Environmental, Political and Social Issues”, 2012, and “Nueva Institucionalidad Ambiental y Participación Ciudadana ¿Es suficiente?", published in “Visión Ambiental Global: Presente y Futuro” in 2012, as well as other op-eds and articles.

Mr. Correa studied law at Universidad de Chile, graduating with distinction in 2005 and was admitted to the Bar in 2007. He received a Master in Laws (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington D.C in 2009. He is member of the Chilean Bar Association.

He is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
