Ximena Moncada is Biochemist and Patent Specialist in Carey y Cía.’s Intellectual Property and Information Technology Group. Her practice is focused in Industrial Property matters related with drafting and prosecution of patents of invention specially in Biotechnology field, as well as in prior art searches.

She has been trained on Industrial Property. She studied Biochemistry at Universidad de Chile, and reached the degree of Doctor in Biochemistry, with a Postdoc in plant improvement. She also has a Diploma in Business Management and Food Agribusiness at Universidad de Chile.

She is fluent in Spanish and English.
