Carey has helped the Chilean subsidiary of Australia’s Pacific Hydro refinance a loan facility with funds from Norwegian commercial bank DNB.

DNB and its Chilean subsidiary hired Philippi Prietocarrizosa & Uría (Chile) to provide the credit line on 28 August. No price for the deal was disclosed.

The loan is intended for Pacific Hydro’s main subsidiary in Chile, Hidroeléctrica Cachapoal. The company is responsible for developing the energy producer’s 900-megawatt asset portfolio in Chile.
