Endesa, Chile’s largest utilities provider, has turned local firm Carey to obtain a revolving credit facility worth US$200 million.

Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in New York and Chile’s Claro & Cía advised the lenders, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and HSBC, for the syndicated facility, which closed on 31 July.

It is thought that Chadbourne & Parke LLP in New York also advised Endesa, but this could not be confirmed prior to publication.
