Recent Representative Experience

  • Clorox on a negotiation with the Chilean Institute of Standardization, along with other manufacturers of chlorine (sodium hypochlorite), in an effort to create a new regulation according to the particularities of sodium hypochlorite. The reason is that in 2015 a new regulation related to the storage of hazardous products created problems for the manufacturers of this product. The final regulation enacted by the Ministry of Health considered the objections filed and made appropriate changes thereof.
  • Codelco Chile in its defense regarding a Patent Infringement lawsuit.
  • A solar energy company in an administrative proceeding challenging the awarding of a USD10 million Government subsidy.
  • Editorial Televisa regarding intellectual property issues related to the character “Condorito”.
  • Electrolux in the analysis of IP related matters regarding the acquisition of CTI.
  • Bomi Chile in a negotiation with the public health procurement office regarding a centralized shipping services agreement.
  • Compass Group Chile in its defense against fines imposed by the Government for a total amount of USD2.4 million.
